Hi, I’m Jyrah also newly known as “Microloc”. I’m am new to the loc fam but I’ve been natural all my life. My mom, “Locs,” installed my locs via the curlieloc method which she bascially made up… I guess that makes me the guinea pig. So far, I love having micro/curlie locs and I’m looking forward to sharing my journey with you!

Day 1: This is pretty much what happened on the 1st day and how far we got.

Words from Mi madre: “I (Locs) finally installed microlocs via my very own #curlielocmethod on my oldest daughter Jyrah (11 yrs) . Basically #curlielocs are similar to #microlocs but they are specifically meant to leave the majority of your natural hair out, with a combination of 1-2 inches tightly twisted, braided and interlocked at the root.
